So Duet won't be able to do E-pics with us until Spring because they said it's too cold and there aren't a lot of nice places to do them in the winter....
So I wanted a STD without a picture and came up with this idea:
These are SMALL magnets.. like business card size and I would order these note cards and attach the magnets to them...
It comes to $60 altogether with the envelopes which will make FH very happy. Are they ugly?? Bad idea? Let me know.. my theme is brown.. BMs are wearing brown.
Do you think its weird bc they're going to be business card size and not big ones? Also I'd have to adhere them somehow to the note cards...

ETA: No, it won't look weird. I've gotten a business card sized magnet for an STD before. As for adhering it to the card- go to Michael's and get glue dots!

i think it's cute but 2 things:
1) make sure you google 'vistaprint coupons' before ordering ... i was able to find 50% off coupons for my thank you cards ... you might be able to afford flat cards at that price!
2) i don't like that you write the RH's name ... it should just say the city & state (or Long Island, NY) on an STD, IMO. But honestly, not a hgue deal
otherwise, i like the way they look

Yup!... it comes to $62 bucks plus the glue dots from Michaels... and shipping is about $15. I figure this is the cheapest way to go. Plus, we won't have our e-pics until the summer some time which is too late IMO for STD's for a November wedding and I don't want to use a picture that we take ourselves!

I actually did the same thing. Do check vistaprint and wait for a sale you can get a good price. I just took a piece of tape and made it double sided and taped the magnet to the notecard, you don't want to do anything too crazy because you want people to easily put the magnet on the fridge! I also added hotel information to the STD, only a few people got hotel rooms early, most waited till the invites went out. I also put my wedding website on the magnet, this way people could check out our reception place, nearby things,airports, distances etc!
Oh also, staples had smaller, nicer inexpensive envelopes that I used. It probably doesn't matter what envelope you use, but I thought it was nice.
