I started writting out my invites last night. I read in a bridal magazine that out of town invites should go out 3 months before the wedding. My Fiance was saying that we should send them all out at the three month mark because it is a holiday weekend. This way we avoid having people make plans for that weekend. Is this a good idea or a bad idea?

i agree with your FH - send them out a little early if it'a holiday weekend so everyone has time to make plans!!

I think it is a good idea. We are sending out our invitations out at least 12 weeks before the wedding. Our final head count is due two weeks prior to the wedding and I want to make sure that everyone has an opportunity to take advantage of hotel blocks and plan.

WOw, i feel so behind. lol. I am not sending them out until Mid- April. I had sent out save the dates to the oot'ers.
