our invitations don't need any extra postage, thank god, and i've never mailed anything to canada before but we have 4 people on FH's side who we must send invitations. does anyone know much extra it will cost with our invitations already having the regular 44 cent stamps?

You should take it to the post office or check their website for international postage prices.

Re: Sending invites to Canada...
Definitely take them to the post office. My sister's DH is from Canada so half of her invites had to be mailed there. Hers were regular size (no extra postage in the US), but ended up costing over $1 to send to Canada, I believe she just put 3-44 cent stamps on them and sent them out.

It will definitely be extra. Remember, don't put a stamp on the RSVP envelope either. They can't mail it back from Canada with a US stamp on it.
With my overseas invitations (I had quite a lot of them) I ended up not stamping the RSVP cards because I couldn't go around collecting postage from South Africa, Australia, etc....

oh thank you for telling me that! we had put US stamps on the rsvp envelopes and figured we'd just ask them how much extra we have to put on them... we're totally clueless when it comes to this because we've never had to mail anything out of the US before! lol. thanks!!

No problem - they won't be able to mail them from another country with US postage on them. They need to put their own country's postage.
