This is a really dumb question. I have a friend that lives in London. I'll obviously go to the post office to have it weighed, but what about the RSVP envelope. Putting a US stamp on it wouldn't do her much good would it?

Re: Sending invitiations internationally
A stamp from our country wouldn't be able to be used. I am sure they will understand and just put one on. I guess if you don't hear from them you can always call them.

I have the same dillemma b/c I am inviting 4 people from Singapore. I'm just putting a US stamp on it. I know they will just call anyway.

We also had two international invites and put the US stamps on the reply envelope. My friend in London just put it in a different envelope and mailed it back, and we haven't gotten the one back from our friend in Amsterdam.

When I sent invitation to my sister who was living in Germany I didn't even think about the reply envelope, she actually sent the invitation to her boyfriend in CA to see the invitation and he mailed the reply back!

i did the same. I put a stamp on the envelope for guests in Israel as well but they either will just call or send it back in a different envelope.

We sent 1 invite to London without a US stamp on the RSVP. She'll understand the situation.

If you want to put a stamp on the RSVP envelope then you should put an .80 cent stamp on there. But if you have a wedding wedsite created, you can also have your OOT reserve online. Its a cool and different idea

Re: Sending invitiations internationally
i think the proper stamp needs to be used. i sent 2 STDs to Sweden and about 20 to Canada and I brought them to the post office.
Why even include the response envelope if your not gonna put acceptable postage on it?

Re: Sending invitiations internationally
for the RSVP envelope, you must put a stamp on from their country. I had a lot of guests from Ireland so I was able to get Irish stamps and I put them on for them. Then I had a few British guests as well, but had no way of gettign British stamps on it... they just called or put one on themselves.

I did not put stamps on the RSVP for my international guests.
