Sending out Rehearsal Invites?

Our rehearsal dinner is October 4th. I was thinking of sending the invites out on August 4th?

Too early?

I just sent mine out last week. and ours is July 10th.

We're doing a rehearsal luncheon, which is really not even a rehearsal at all, just a luncheon. It's the day before our wedding so we included it in the wedding invitations of the people that were invited to the luncheon. HTH!

Oh that was a good idea! But we already sent out our wedding invitations.

It might be. MIL send out our RD invites right after we sent out the invitations (8 weeks before), and almost no one responded to her. I think she should have waited until it got closer, because I dont think people are really thinking about that so far in advance.

Ok so is it horrible NOT to send invites out for this??? Seriously I was not going to do invites at all i am having a small BP and they will nnot be in town until late on Friday the 12th also our Rehearal is at 12 noon on the 13th then just having a quick luncheon, very informal after. Do I really need to be sending invites out to this? I was thinking of inviting all of the OOT guests to this but really I have ALOT to do the day before.

I don't think it's too early... As long as you send them out after invites- you're OK...

yeah thats what i was thinking. i just sent my invites to the wedding out so i was going to give it a little before i sent the rehearsal invites out.

You dont have to. you can do whatever you want! your wedding!!! FH mother and father are throwing the rehearsal for us at a resturant so FH and I said we would do the invites. It was just something we had time to do so we did... I dont think you have to though. If you have the time then yeah why not...
