separate makeup artist for BMs?

Did anyone have a separate makeup artist come for the BMs? We are taking pictures before the ceremony, so getting ready is going to be EARLY! I'd prefer to have 2 people getting makeup done at the same time instead of one at a time, because with me + 6-8 others it will take a while. We were thinking one makeup artist for me, my mom, my sis and maybe one other BM and then a second artist for the others.

If you had a second makeup artist COME TO YOUR HOUSE for your BMs, how much did they charge per girl?

I'm afraid that without the super over-priced bride makeup the prices will go up a lot for the BMs?

I have a makeup artist coming to my house and then at the salon I have another for the Bridal party

We are aiming to be at the hall by 8:30am so we can get into our dresses and then take pictures from 9-11am. i dont think any salons are open early enough on a Sunday, unless they want to open special for us......

oh I didnt know you were going that early. If it was me I would definelty get 2 makeup artists. Did you pick them yet?

That's why I posted! I'm trying to find some...

I have a trial scheduled with one girl who I've used before and really like, but she has another wedding that day so I don't know if she needs to leave us a little early or whether she has time to do everyone. Also, she might be a little pricey -- I'm hoping to find something as reasonable as possible for my girls.

I think ideally she would do me/my mom/my sis and then we would have someone else do the rest.

I'm afraid its going to be hard to find someone if they arent going to be doing me (since they always charge way more for the bride)

ahh Ok. I dont think you will have a hard time getting someone to come and do you and your family. I woud mention when you find the person you are going to hire for you if they work have someone to help. Otherwise you can hire someone from MAC to come to your house. I can get a ferral from my Gfriend shes got friends at MAC that do weddings. Let me know
