Honestly, nobody thinks it is a bad idea that I have spoken to. It was just me hesitating in the beginning. In fact people have said that it will be nice to have something happy to celebrate that weekend.

Yup! I'm 9/16 at Port Jeff Country club. I'm getting very excited that it's finally almost September and we will all be able to finally do the 'less than one year' countdown. I think September is a gorgeous time of year on L.I.
WOW! I just read what some of you have already planned and am SO impressed! I need to get my butt in gear. So far we have --church --reception site -- photographer
going to look at dresses in 2 weeks!

I *think* the colors are going to be (I hate the names, it sounds ick...) Mango and azalea. Basically they are colors that look a lot like sunset-like colors. I'm still debating this, though. I tend to second guess just about everything

Have you girls decided what your color yourgirls are going to be in? I wanted red, but I love pink and everyone told me you cannot do pink in Sept, I went to macys they told me it was early sept so I can. Other wise its red or cafe

Hi, I'm getting married Sept..24/05.. We go next Fri. to see Ariana Waterfalls. We live in NJ.. Someone told us about the all inclusive package deals that they have in Long Island..
I only picked out my bridal party and went to see one hall in Staten Island.. It didn't move me.. I'm hoping to get the all inclusive deal, so the flowers, photography, videography.. etc.. is one less thin gI have to worry about..
I bartend in Jersey on Thurs. & Fri. nights part time gig.. so I love the DJ's there.. so I will pick one of them.. I've been going to the same beautician for 12 yrs, so of course she will do my hair, and be in the wedding.. She has become one of my best friend..

Pick whatever color you want.. I'm going with RED or Black.. Haven't decided , they r my favorite colors... Red because I'm a hot mama, and black, because it's sooooo sexy! hahahahahaha
