Sept 18, 2004 brides

Their seems to be a few of us.

How are we holding up? Time is flying. I am so excited, next month I leave a deposit on my dress. I cant wait to go back and put it on and leave a deposit.

Everyday I tell FI i cant wait to be his wife. I was out of wedding mode for a little, but now I am back and have been making so many notes and getting ideas. I cant wait till the big day to see it all in front of me and to be standing next to my husband

As you know I am another Sept 18th bride . I have registered, gone for a makeup trail, booked makeup artist, got all the forms for pre-cana (going to do it in Dec) and spoke to the florist. Everyday I tell Michael that I can not wait to be married to him and he says the same to me. Like you said, it is almost here. We are all here for each other if we need it.

Hi Everyone!
I wish I was at your wedding planning stage Lisa! I seem to be far behind. Unfortunately, I think I'm relying too much on making my fiance be a part of the planning - He's getting annoyed and I'm getting frustrated How has everyone handled the planning - do you do most of the work and just run it by him at the end or is he very involved?

What's the countdown date anyway?

424 days

I do all the research and narrow down the choices then run them by FI. Together we decide on when we'll see people and what time

Then we go and talk about it.

Things like flowers, gifts for my mom, gifts for my girls he doesnt really care much about. He'll say oh yea thats nice or that works but he its mostly my decision.

I have to say, FI and I made all the decisions together. We decided on who to see, who to book with, what to buy for BP, family, etc. Planning my wedding is wonderful because FI is a part of it and we have done it together.

Please do not think that you are behind in your planning. I will be engaged 2 1/2 years by the time we get married so I have a lot of time to do things.

Re: Sept 18, 2004 brides

I just bought a book of lists so either it will make me more organized or neurotic

Anyhow, has anybody been to any of the local bridal shows? Have you found them to be helpful at all or just a waste of time? I'm debating about whether or not to go to the one at Verdi's tonight.

I have never been to any bridal shows. To me it was not worth it.

I have gone to a bridal expo at my own hall that had all the hall's vendors. that was really nice

I am so excited, my dad just called me and said we are going to go Aug 23 to leave a deposit on the dress. We may go sooner on a Thursday afternoon. He has to talk to my mom.

I cant wait. I cant wait to put my dress on again. I never thought I would feel this way about a dress. I cant wait to officially leave a deposit on it.

Re: Sept 18, 2004 brides

I got my dress this week!! I can't believe it - now things seem real. FH is starting school in a month in VA and I am also moving so I'm trying to get a lot done now while I'm still in the area and have the time to do so.

Do you all have a lot of out of towners on your lists??? We're having a hell of a time finding enough hotel rooms for all of our guests...

I can not believe that it is almost here. I am holding up pretty well but you can't go by me because I have everything done already. I am just waiting for the day to come.
