Re: Sept 18, 2004 brides
Since our anniversary is Sept 8th, we are going to celebrate that day by going away next weekend to Hershey and we are not celebrating the 18th.

Not to barge in on your post, but I just found out that one of FH's best men (he has 2) is getting married on Sept 18! Our wedding is July 17, one of the best men is getting married Aug 21, than the other Sept 18!
Good luck to all you Sept brides, I know you will get good weather because it is always nice around my birthday 9/16 (although it rains sometimes on my birthday, never right after)

a guy FI works with he is getting married same days as us. How funny is that.
9/18 seems to be a very popular day

Re: Sept 18, 2004 brides
Hi, I can't believe I am almost at the one year mark either. I have been engaged since November and so far I have booked my reception, flowers, photographer, dj, limo and ordered my gown. Basically done with all the big stuff. My FH is involved in the planning. I want to look into makeup artists soon. For the one year mark, actually a little early, next week we are going on a short vacation, the a three day cruise. I can't wait we booked our vacation over 6 months ago.

Re: Sept 18, 2004 brides
I am going to book mine in Nov. My travel agent told me that I can book at the time because I will be paying 2003 prices and can save some money that way and also I can pick whatever seats I want on the plane.

I'm trying to decide between Italy (my choice) and island - Fiji or Tahiti (FI choice). They are two completely different honeymoons! Have you narrowed down choices yet?

I went to Aruba a few years ago with my cousin. We had a great time and the weather was 87 and sunny everyday - no variation!!! You'll have a great time

Re: Sept 18, 2004 brides
we're approaching our 1 year mark.
I met a girl who bowls on my league who is a 9/18 bride as well.
A year from now at this time we'll be doing last minute things, calling our vendors and preparing for the day.
How very exciting

I can not wait to say next Thursday that we have 366 days left (because next year is leap year). Time has gone by so quickly.
