September '08 Brides

Hi ladies. I just puched my wedding from April '08 to September. We needed more time to save $$$$. How far along are the9/08 brides in terms of planning. I feel pretty behind. I just have a RH and a DJ. That's it.

My date is the 26th. Sometimes I feel like it's so far away but I guess it's really not.

I'm 9.19.08 and all I have is RH, photo and I am working on flowers. I'd like to have all the major vendors by the end of September. I'd like to have my dress ordered by then, too!

Wow! I just took a quick look at your profile. I can't believe how much you've got done. Now I really feel behind...LOL. I'll catch up by the end of the summer.

I am actually getting married on the same day as you as Jessie (Jesaroo2) said....

YEAH I have a date twin. Which hall are you getting married in??

Um I have alot done. I have RH, Church, Video, Photo, DJ and Limos and Honeymoon.

Now I am working on Flowers and Dresses

I would say try to book Photo/Video next

Thanks yelley....you made me feel so much better...all we have is the RH and the church booked...that is it! We jsut started making some appointmetns for everything else.

I am Sept. 6, 2008 and I have booked the RH, Photographer and my hair and make-up person....we are struggling with the band and I plan to start dress shopping next week.

Ooops, forgot to mention that I have also booked part of our HM

I found that when I tried to do everything at once, I got very overwhelmed, so I decided to tackle everything vendor by vendor. Once I am done with my flowers, I'm moving on to the DJ. Then I'll think about limo's. I am pretty sure I found my dress this weekend, and I will most likely order it within the next moth or so.

You'll be fine. Also, do your vendors biggest to smallest. The next most important vendor for my after i booked my RH was the photographer.... so taht is another good way to organize how you want to book your vendors.
