September '08 Brides

Have you already sent out save the dates? I don't think I can do mine until January. Does that seem late?

it's not too late, my mini book of weddiquette says STD's should go out 6-9 months before the wedding, so you'll be right on target.

Yes, I did send mine out, but not all of them. After I sent out the first batch to all of the family and close friends, somebody made a good point to me. 'If you send out save the dates, these people WILL save the date'. In my case I am inviting way more than I wanted to, but I'm marrying I'm marrying a fireman and 2. he has a huge family. So I don't plan on sending anymore STDs out.
I created them on vistaprint and was so proud of them, but I really don't want to send them to 368 people, so it looks like I'll have a bunch to keep for myself : )

I sent mines out already because I have alot of OOT's. I dont think its too early though.

January is fine. I sent mine out last month but only to the people who I know I will still like when I send out the invites. There are some people who are iffy, so I'll send theirs out if/ when I decide that I am definitely going to invite them!

Thanks, ladies. I always get nervous when I think I am falling behind. This wedding planning stuff is a lot more work than I expected -- an I am not even having a big wedding. About 100 people.

I was planning on sending out mine in Jaunary also which will give people about 7 months to make their decision

My fiance and I are going to send our save the dates in January as well... We don't want them getting lost in Christmas mail... I don't think its to late at all!

I litterally just ordered my STD today!

I have nothing but amazing things to say about this vendor...we went back and forth with proofs, super nice, simply amazing... once i get them in the mail i'll post something on it.

I plan on using them as christmas cards. send them when your ready!

I figured six months would be more than enough time so i plan to send them out on Valentine's day...
I'll have them hand stamped so that Feb. 14 will be on the envelope.
(I'm such a sap, lol)
