September 2003 Brides

Just wanted to find out what all the other September 2003 brides have planned so far. I'm getting married on September 20th 2003 and I don't have much planned yet. I have the church, reception site and my dress. Just wondering what I should get moving on.

My wedding is next August, so not too far from yours. The nect thing I'd think about is music, especially if you want a band. In my experience, they book fast!

So far we have ...

Church
Reception - Hamlet in Commack
Band - Heart and Soul
Flowers - Burtons (but considering switching to flower michele)
Girls dresses - Alfred Angelo also from Burtons

Now I'm getting panicky over a photographer!

The only solid thing I have right now is my reception location and date:

I just tried on dresses for the 1st time today and found one that I like:

A photographer responded to an email and I love her work. I just have to arrange to meet with her next.


DJs are next on my 'To Do' list.

I am getting married September 13, 2003. What we have done so far is:

Ceremony and Reception Site (same place)
DJ
Rings
Deposits left for Photographer & Video
Centerpieces (I bought everything for them)
Pastor

Waiting for some invitation samples to arrive.

Still have to do dresses, limos, invites, favors etc.....

im a sept 21st bride also... and i thought i was ahead of the game and had some time but now that i read all these brides have almost everything dumb i feel like im a litte behind!

looks like i better get a move on things huh? ive been going gown shopping but im not having much luck...i only found one that i like! well now that im depressed im going to end this and start doing some research...oh i also have my florist...pedastals! well i guess im not that behind! good luk everyone even though it looks like im the one who needs the luck now!

YOU SHOULD DEFINITELY THINK ABOUT GETTING YOUR MUSIC, BECAUSE THE BAND I AM GOING TO SEE ON THURSDAY BOOKS ABOUT A YEAR AND A FEW MONTHS AHEAD. IT SOUNDS LIKE YOU ARE ON THE RIGHT TRACK THOUGH. GOOD LUCK!
