Is anyone getting married the weekend of September 18th at NRC and getting the ceiling decor?

Totally butting in, I got married there June 26 (everything was amazing!!!) I didn't pay for the ceiling treatments, but they were on the day of my wedding and the few times I had been there the couple weeks before. I would just check with them about it it you are interested in having them.

I've heard that they'll call their brides before and see if they want the ceiling or not if it's up already. When I asked them if any bride was getting it done in the same weekend they said they weren't sure and wouldn't know until the week of. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it'll be there bc I reallllllyyyy love it!!

I'm a NRC bride too! (Not Sept though- I'm in 2012). I recently got a price quote for that and was told by the house vendor they are the 'only Company who can touch their ceilings' as they told me. Anyway $1,500.

I'm getting married there Friday night! Sept 23rd so no luck for me getting it for free b/c of another bride! :(

are you talking about the white they drape across the top with the lights???
When I orginally looked at the place it was there & loved it!!!!
Did you NRC brides know they added uplighting to the ballroom. I have pics in my album,...i think

I think they had those drapings up for my wedding. And for the lighting, they can change it to whatever color you want!

I would look at it first. They can make it any color you want. It's prob not as good as a DJ's but still pretty awesome of them to upgrade themselves

I was an NRC bride last September - I was a Sunday wedding and I didn't want to pay for the ceiling drapery, but when I showed up on my wedding day, it was up!! It looked fabulous
But truth be told, if it wasn't there, I wouldn't have been disappointed. I wasn't expecting it and I'm sure if I took a survey of my guests, less than 5% would've even remembered it was there.
But being a bride, you notice everything - and it meant a lot to me on the day of. Regardless, you will all be SO happy... NRC was great to us!
