September 21st -- Summer or Fall?

HELP!! I've been planing this wedding since June and thought I was going with an autumn theme -- colored leaves, jewel toned flowers, etc., but now I'm feeling that late Sept. isn't really 'fall-like' at all. The weather is warm, the leaves haven't really changed .... OK, now I'm babbling.

technically the summer doesn't end until 9/23, but I always associate the end of summer with Labor Day...

Thats what I was thinking Yabbo - but this warm weather the past 2 weeks isn't feeling very 'fallish'. If you went to a wedding tonight, would you think it was funny seeing fall colors?

I don't think so, because I agree the end of summer to me is Labor Day as well. I always look forward to the fall so any time I see fall things I get excited, thus, my fall themed wedding in 14 days!

The weather doesn't feel much like fall, but I'm still doing my fall theme in 6 days!

I think you're fine - anything after Labor day is associated with fall. People at work are already wearing tall leather boots, and it hasn't gone below 60 degrees! LOL

check out next years calender..when is the fall equinox?? sometimes its as early as the 21st, sometimes its as late as the 23rd

We got married last year on 9/21 and it was the last day of summer! I decided to keep the summer thing going and it turned out to be a beautiful day so I was happy that I did!

IM ALSO SEPT 21,03'! I AM HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM AS YOU! IM NOT REALLY INTO THE DARK FALL COLORS OR ROSES BUT THE OTHER DAY I WENT INTO A FLORIST NEAR WORK AND CAME ACROSS THESE YELLOWISH ROSES WITH PINKISH/ORANGEISH TOPS AND THEY WERE BEAUTIFUL! THEY WERENT TYPICAL ROSES THAT YOU NORMALLY SEE SO MAYBE THATS WHY I LIKED THEM! THEY HAD A SCALLOPED EDGE TO THEM. IM STILL CONFUSED ON WHAT TO DO! IM PICKY BECAUSE I DONT REALLY LIKE THE BROWNS AND I DONT REALLY WANT ROSES AND I ALSO WANT SOMETHING VERY UNORDINARY!!!!

I am 9/26/2003 and I do not have very 'Fall' colors. My colors are champange and light gold. It is a very fresh and light theme. It's still warm and beautiul but I think you could pull off a fall theme.
