so what is everyone doing now.....do you all feel as crazy as i do.....we are mailing out our invites friday and i feel like all the little things that need to get done are making me crazy........

hey ladies!

i'm getting the invites calligraphered, should get them back next week and will stuff and send out 4th of july w/e. I met with the organist at the church and picked out the ceremony music. next big thing to do is purchase paper products and create formats- programs, seating cards, menus, etc.

Can't believe it's 3 months away! so excited, i know its going to fly by so have to stay on top of everything and get my arse in shape!

vinnysgirl- did you book your HM flight? what did you use?

Hi shiv......we used david from in and out travel for our honeymoon.......we pay our final payment in august ........cant wait for the HM

We are in invite hell, too. Having trouble printing on the smaller inserts. My Matron OH did my direction map, so that's done, now just need to see if FH can print it up on the insert cards we've prepared. Went to other BM's house last night to print out the envelopes (we're printing them double-sided - you'll see in the DIY thread!) so I wanted to not do them at our house because you know who <--- (aka Brew-dog) would probably tramp all over them and ruin the things we've spent so much time on. I burned a CD with all the addrsses in nice pretty font that took me several hours to enter into the computer (I saved each address individually). When we loaded the CD onto her laptop, the CD was empty - FH didn't finalize the CD when he burned it for me. I felt like I wasted my time and my BMs time. FH wanted envelope liners and we couldn't find them anywhere but last night at Target I found a pattern of liner that perfectly matches my theme, invites, colors, etc. but of course they only had one pack of ten, which will only get me through about 20 of my invites and I need to have 150 envelopes! Oh boy! AND we leave for Ireland next week - it's a trip I forced FH to book with me literally three days before he proposed...if I knew he was going to propose I would have held off on it knowing what a crazy summer we'd have...long story for another post!!! I was hoping we could get a lot done this weekend, but we have pre-cana both days.
Oh, and we were planning a Europeon HM, but are now working with Leslie on making it a relaxing, do-nothing-at-all Mexican vacation.
Phew....92 days to go!

I know it's terrible but I'm not going to wear anything except the slip under the dress. I have a feeling it's going to be HOT and it has a corset anyway.

i have to tuxes, mail out invites, Bridal party gifts, wedding bands, pick out DJ songs, ahhhhhhhhh i don't want to think about all this now

Goals STILL LEFT for July:
- MOH gifts
- Book RD
- Design/Finalize Memorial Candle
- Finalize and Print Program
- Confirm Vendors
- Make appt. with priest
-Make appt. with photo/video
-Make appt. with florist
-Make appt. with DJ

I can't sleep anymore!! I just feel like there are soo many little things left to do!

I decorated my baskets: slippers, bubbles and programs. Will be putting together my almonds next week - wish me luck.

FH and I just finished our envelopes. We did our own calligraphy on them, we stamped and sealed them all tonight to drop at the post office tomorrow! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!

To anyone who lives in an area where they can get to a major post office I highly recommend it. We went to the Hicksville post office, dropped our invites off at 11PM and they were in most people's mailboxes THE NEXT DAY!!! It was amazing!! I dropped off my invites on Tuesday, and I already got my first RSVP today!

I just stuffed 125 envolopes and i have another 50 to go
Does anyone know if you hand stamp them at the post office, or if they do it for you?? Does it cost more $$

FH and GM are all at the tux place getting fitted as I type. Next Saturday we are moving into our new apartment....and on Monday (the 3rd) I am mailing out the invites.
