September Brides

Where are you going on your Honeymoon? Are you worried about traveling in the middle of freakin' stupid hurricane season?

I'm sick today stuck on the house so I figured i'll give FH a break and start looking at honeymon places.

Re: September Brides

I talked to a TA about it they said people travel to the carribean all the time during our time of year. He suggested and we got, the HM insurance they offer for like $400 more. This way GOD FORBID there is a hurricane we can post pone it, or go to another sandals depending on the availablity to avoid the storm. This doesn't help with the issue of airfare but atleast Sandals will be under control

i'm getting married in August, but going on the HM in september

we ended up doing a Hawaii cruise ... total (including flights, hotels for 2 additional nights, cruise, and taxes) comes to about $5000 (for both of us). Not bad for 2 weeks

We're going on a cruise of the eastern Mediterranean, then touring Italy for a few days. We've cruised in October (still hurricane season) without a problem, so do whatever you want! But if your going to the Caribbean, I would def get some trip insurance!

We are doing a week in Disney and probably a week in the Bahamas.

I'm not really worried about hurricane season because we are going towards the end of it. We went to the Bahamas at the end of September a few years ago and the weather was perfect, not to mention we got really good deals on hotel/airfare, I'm keeping my fingers crossed though!!!
