September brides

Where are you at with planning?

*We met with our DJ yesterday & he wanted us to go over songs & what not for him & I had NO CLUE bc my list is so long with everything & too many options so he gave me paperwork to start filling out for the special songs/escorts etc & then I have to get together the photo montage!
*I STILLLLLL need to find some1 to do my hair & makeup
*Invitation proofs should be here anyday & then ordered
* It's all the small details left.. But I feel like SOMETHING will be forgotten about

I'm starting to feel a little overwhelmed especially with a baby thrown into the mix...

Im feeling overwhelmed also. Got a lot of big details taken care of early on and then slacked off for a while. Now it's getting to crunch time, we just passed our five month mark and now I feel like all the little details have to start getting done.

hey date twin! i still need to:

reserve the chairs for the ceremony
find a hair and makeup person
pick up my veil
buy my shoes
buy BM/parents/GM gifts
buy toasting glasses, serving set and money holder
book honeymoon
set up donations for the favors

There is some other odds and ends. I'm also still waiting on my invitations and I haven't sat with the DJ to go over music yet but we're not scheduled to do that until July/August. There is still plenty of time to work on those things. I'm just glad the big things are out of the way!!! But i definitely need to book the honeymoon asap!

FH doesn't wanna do a big honeymoon so thats off our list! We have a 13month old son & want to get a house after the wedding & with it being hurricane season he wants to do something local like Montauk or AC & not spend a fortune. He stinks but has a good point... I guess

I'm right there with you! STRESSED!! THANK GOODNESS FOR LIWEDDINGS!!! So much to do so little time. My FH and I are busy working full time and going to school full time and we didnt have much in the way of free time so we booked at BCC bc of their package. Well...when i spoke to the house photog I was less than thrilled. So I went frantic calling places and we booked Patken the other day. Today my mission was to find hair/makeup. So many already booked, I must have called 15 people and left messages. I finally got a trial on thurs, which is good bc we are having engagement pix taken thurs night. THEN I get a call tonight form the DJ we thought we had in the package, and he informed us they were no longer included. So now we have to search for a DJ. So much for a package right! Still all the little stuff:shoes, jewelery, bmaids gifts, ...etc. Thank goodness we have the place, photog, my dress, girls dresses, tuxes, save the dates are out, we have our invitations, and hopefully the florist is still in lol. Good Luck To Us All!!!!!!!!!!!

I just hope I have hair for the stylist to do and I havent ripped it all out by 9/10/11 lol

I just got engaged the end of January and wanted a wedding in 2011. I probably have you all beat. I have no dress!!! Not that im a procrastinator i just want to loose more weight first. Looking to buy an off the rack dress anyway but should probably start soon!!

Just found my videographer today, AJ Ignoglia. He was so awesome to work with. Also need hair/makeup. Need to work out were we are getting ready. Thinking of doing a hotel close to RH to make it easier for picture/video taking. Plus need to lock in on HM.

So I hear you loud and clear. Sept will be hear before you know it!!

I still need to come up with some idea of what I want for flowers, and drag FH to the tux shop to pick out his tux & the groomsmen tuxes. Luckily I already have my dress in hand and have a good idea of everything else I want. Thank god for being overly organized!

I think u need to find hair & make ASAP... They can book very fast!!!!!!!!!!!!!......

I mean unless U dont want them to come to ur getting ready location & u will be going to teh salons.

& its one of my top wedding nightmares of not having any1 day of.. I'm going to call today & book a trial before I have heart failure lol

I have some appointments scheduled for next week for both. Luckily I'm getting married on a Sunday, & so far everyone I've contacted is available!
