September Brides- are you freaking out yet- because I am

I can't believe september is almost here and I have so much stuff to do. I wish I hadn't waited until the last minute.

I'm not stressing yet, but the past year has been pretty eventful and full of surprises so I've decided that I can't stress anymore.

I do have a long list of to do's!!!!

Wedding rings
Menu cards
placecards
RSVP date is tomorrow and I'm still waiting for quite a few responses -- about 30 but we have 160 guests so far
MARRIAGE LICENSE
A few things I'm forgetting I'm sure

Just remember as long as you have you FH, your marriage license and the officiant--- the show will go on!!!

I am sept 6- that is less than three weeks- I just hope we get everything done.

i'm on the 6th too!!!!!!
i THINK i have everything under control...

-have to print up placecards this week
-figure out all tips, etc
-wrap bridal party gifts
-start packing for honeymoon
hmmmmmm....there's more, i know!!!

(finished my programs 2 weeks ago!!!)

we still haven't finished our favors or programs (we just met with the church music guy) I am having issues printing the rd invites, I am not sure if I like my wedding ring, fi has not picked out grooms gifts, then of course we have to pack and stuff- fun fun fun.

A little bit - so much left to do with no time to do it - this weekend alone I am getting our marriage license, meeting with the priest and picking the menu with the Westbury Manor. Sun is my make-up trial and then FINALLY my engagement pics and the wedding is in 34 days!

Still left:
Pick up Wedding rings
Menu cards
placecards
church program
finishing wrapping favors, and bridal party gifts
RSVP date was 10 days ago and 30 people still haven't responded

A few things I'm forgetting I'm sure!

I met with Alexandria a couple of weeks ago. She was nice and accomadating. Maybe its because Im having a smaller wedding approx 80 people they wouldnt throw in much but hey did a couple of items i wanted for the cocktail hour.

We asked about having a platter of cookies at each table. That would cost $3.50 pp. I almost fainted :)

Wendy - I didn't realize you are yet another WM bride too - these places always get you on the extras! My FI now wants the martini bar at the cocktail hour - hello, for $500 for 1 hour, I think NOT! It's insane! What cake did you chose? How did you find their selection? I hope they throw something in for free for me but I doubt it!

They had about 5 or 6 basic cakes to choose from. I chose style B1 I think. I thought it was pretty. The other cakes were the basket weave design and the pyramid and a couple of other traditional ones if i remember correctly. The cakes included in yourp ackages are all nicely but simply decorated with icing or watever you call it. If you want them to add flowers or other deco those run between $350 and 500 dollars. If you want your florist to provide the flowers for the cake they would have to be their to decorate it.

yup. Im gonna give them some artificial flowers and they said they would decorate the cake with them for me. I figured noone gets that close to the cake and the flowers I have are pretty and FREE :)
