I can't believe september is almost here and I have so much stuff to do. I wish I hadn't waited until the last minute.

I can't believe that there are so many sept brides on this board are at the WM- there is at least one a weekend.
The menu selection went well. We pretty much knew what we wanted so it was easy. We were fine with the cake choices- I am shocked by how much they charge to upgrade a cake that noone really eats anyway. They charge $50 for the flowers on top. We didn't upgrade anything so I can't really help with bargaining tactics.

Thanks soo much dcbride for your report - dee, plesae post your experiencs with them today! My florist is decorating my cake so I won't need them to charge me $350- that's insane! which fillings for the cake did you chose?

I'm exactly one month from today!! Ahhh!!

Left to do:
meet with priest tonight
finish RD invitations tonight
bachelorette party - this weekend
guest welcome bags for hotel
favors - p/u and tie on ribbons
bathroom baskets for hall
mail bridal luncheon invitations
second dress fitting - Aug 30
seating arrangements
make name cards with table #s
Programs - this one I'm worried about!
make sure my FG's mom ordered the dress - don't ask!!
wrap Bridal Party gifts
figure out and make RD centerpieces - still searching for ideas

I know there is more, but its not coming to me right now. . . let me think a little more

We are getting a whipped cream basket weave, with yellow sponge cake with a layer of fresh strawberries and a layer of cannoli.

Septbride - I am 30 days from tomorrow- yikes! I feel your anxiety!

dcbride - that sounds yummy! any chance they gave you some samples while you were choosing the menu - i am so jealous of these other brides who have tastings!
