September Honeymoon Help

Hey Girls-
Reconsidering our decision to go to South Africa for various reasons. Now looking into Europe or the Carribean. Question, aren't there some carribean islands that are outside the hurricane belt? September is questionable in most of the carribean so I wanted to be sure I am looking into the right places. Thanks!

I think just Aruba.
We were married in Sept and went to the Amalfi Coast in Italy - Amazing! I'd definitely recommend it for a Sept. HM.

Just the A,B,C islands- which Aruba is the A (dont know how to say or spell the B or the C- sorry) Hope this helped.

There are places that are outside the Hurricane belt-- they call them the ABC islands-- I don't remember what A and B stand for. C is Cabo San Lucas (I think).

I am also a Sept bride who is concerned with honeymooning in hurricane season! I think we are going to Hawaii but Aruba and the West Coast of Mexico are good choices - you can never go wrong with Italy!

I posted about this same dilemma a while back. While Sept. is a great month for NY weather, it ****s as far as hoenymoon planning ( I know, I'm 9/26/03). I have spoken to a few travel agents that advise I delay it a bit. Don't know if that's an option for you or if you are open to that idea. If not, West coast of Mexico is fine. One TA told me Amalfi coast was still a little cool. And of course, Aruba. I think Hawaii isn't too bad either. Everywhere else in the region of coastal Florida to lower central amerca and the carribean are peak hurricane

My date is 9/6 and we are pretty sure we will go to Aruba- seems like the safest in terms of weather.

We're hitting the French Riviera. It's supposed to be a great time of year to be there. The weather & water is still warm, but the summer crowds have gone.

Pretty sure Aruba is outside the hurricane belt.
I too am a Sept. bride and we decided to go to Europe too. We are going to go to Spain- 6days in the southern coast (Spanish Riviera) and 3 days in Barcelona. I can't wait!!!
