What is a good destination other than Hawaii? I am trying to get ideas, and I know that it's hurricane season in the Carribean? Is this true? Where else is good????

I'm going to Aruba

Europe?
California?

We said screw hurricane season, we're going to St. Lucia anyway (Sept 14-21). Reasons:
1) The chances of getting hit by a hurricane are pretty small. Statistically speaking, it's not a high chance
2) MUCH cheaper b/c of reason #1
3) If there's a hurricane - so what? I can think of other things to do indoors, alcohol and frolicking with FH among them.
4) If a hurricane DID hit - it would only be for a day or two, and Sandals provides a blue chip guarantee. If a hurricane hits the island during your stay, you get a free trip back of equal value, inc airfare.

We're looking into Bora Bora & Fiji...considered Greece & Italy as well.

I would agree with Thrilled...the chances are probably pretty slim that there would be a hurricane while you were there. I would take out insurance on the trip though, if you did decide to go with the Carribean - IF you don't go with Sandals (see Thrilled's response above for why).

Thanks girls! I was thinking of Greece, and I heard Aruba is beautiful. We've been to europe already twice together, and we definitly want relaxing instead of all site-seeing. Although, both would be perfect. Hawaii is my first choice right now, but I am trying to get ideas that are less expensive
