September/October brides....

Where are you going for your honeymoon? We are planning on going to Aruba for the simple fact that September falls right in the middle of hurricane season and Aruba is one of the only islands that aren't really affected by the hurricanes.

Where have you chosen to spend your HM?

Haven't really thought about it...me and my fiancee are not going on our honeymoon until Feb 2006 (due to him being a teacher and me not being able to get off for xmas) If anyone has any ideas for a Feb. vacation I would appreciate it!!

Im in September of next year, but I thought about hurricane season as well--we've had luck traveling to the Caribbean in the past two years--we're probably leaning towards Mexico though--most likely safer on the West Coast, but we just may stay near Cancun instead. Who knows?

Im getting brochures like crazy....LOL

We are taking our chances, going on a Carribbean Cruise!! Actually, if there are any hurrican patterns, they will stop at another island, so it ends up working out.

Ive thought about that too but we do not want to spend 1/2 the day, if not more, on a plane

just a heads up from reading reviews here and from other firends - it still rains alot in aruba during those months -they might not get the huricanes but they seem to get remnants (a lot of rainy days)

I am august- so same problem - we are doing french riveria or a cruise around tahiti

Right now we are between Moorea/Bora Bora and Hawaii. We also thought about Belize.

If you want to go to the carribean, try an island below the hurricane belt - Anguilla, Nevis, St. Kitts, Bonaire, etc....

If you are looking into Mexico, check out www.royalhideaway.com. I stayed there a couple years ago and it was AMAZING!!!

We LOVED St Lucia - it doesn't hurt to try it.

we went to hawaii for two reasons, most of the caribbean is in hurricane season at that time and we've gone to the carribean during dating so we went somewhere completely different.
