I thought I had picked out a color for my bridesmaids dresses which is light blue or a peri blue... but my FI's sister called and said that it's not really a 'fall color' then I thought maybe a royal or midnight blue, but invitations are ordered already in light blue... Any suggestions/thoughts??

You can do whatever you want. Really fall can be any color. I had a September wedding and had red/bordeux colored dresses. It's your day pick what colors you want.

I am also getting married in September. I am going with a celeron green - a light color too. I think September is one of the most versatile months and it`s the fabric that matters (sometimes) more than the color. If you are happy - Go for it and GL!

my wedding is sept 1 and my girls are wearing lavendar. everything i am doing is in lavendar and other summery colors - fall doesn't even technically begin until sept 23 so most of september is still a summer wedding anyway. you should go with whatever will make you happiest.

September I don't even consider the fall. I think of Oct. and Nov. as fall. I think that in Sept. blue is beautiful, besides. Summer has been lasting longer and longer anyway, so don't fret.

Yes, It is YOUR day. You can have whatever color you choose. My friend had black for a summer wedding. You dont have to have your invitations match your dress color, we didnt.

I was married last September 23rd and had a fall themed wedding. We did everything in fall colors and then it was 70 degrees that afternoon. More like summer! You should do what makes you happy. It's your wedding.

I am getting married a the end of August and I am having a Pastel blue, lavender color. Like everyone said, it has been like summer in Sept and I think the color is a good choice. Who is the manufacturer of the dresses?

I'm using periwinkle blue in the fall. Our wedding was originaly in may but we changed the location and so the date. I had the same concern about wearing blue in fall, so I'm glad everyone thinks it OK! My dresses are a silvery blue so my bms convinced me it was ok for fallWelcome New Vendors
