What is your tentative timeline for the next few months?

just have to get bp gifts..and get my undergarments and shoes...

What about things like jewelry, favors, creative projects ?? LOL yeah I feel like way behind.

We just booked our venue on Monday! I thought I was doing well b/c I have an appt with a photographer, blocked hotel rooms for out of towners, ordered my STD's, and know what invites I am getting.

Now I feel like I am WAY behind!

I have plenty to do still...

invitations
bridal party gifts
cakes
hair
favors
find bowls for my CP's
shoes
jewelery for me

I am sure there is other stuff I am missing....

Now I feel REALLY behind! I still have to get invitations, book limos, plan honeymoon, get a veil, shoes, etc. I haven't even started looking at dresses for MOH!

i have to book limos,
fh has to do tuxedos
i have to do a makeup/hair trial
then just 'small' stuff, i.e. menus, programs,
oot bags, etc.
oh, we're about to book honeymoon if fh could
just get on it.

Great - I feel REALLY behind now - since I am a month before you!!!!

I'm still shopping for my gown!!(I have to make my decision this week)
I still have yet to book limo, MU artist, invitations, tuxes and favors.
I have had a hard time getting around to all this stuff.

here's what I've done:

Booked Church & Reception place
Booked Band
Booked Photo
Booked Video
Sent STDs
Ordered my dress and veil
BMs ordered their dresses
Looked at invites with FH and mom-- but didn't order yet.

My next major things are
1. book florist (I am doing that the last week in april)
2. Find hair and makeup person & book
3. Block off hotel rooms
4. Book honeymoon
5. book limo
6. Tuxes!

Then after that I've got a million littler things to do...

I'm hoping to book my reception location tonight. Then I can start working on the invitations. We still have to purchase my favors, rings, my undergarments, whatever my FH ends up wearing and gifts for BP and our moms. We still need to confirm our officiant and music for the reception.

Everything else is pretty much done.

The last day of the school quarter for me is Tuesday. The new quarter begins on April 4th; so in that period of time I will:
pick up my invitations and begin addressing them
decide on a florist
purchase favors
shop for tuxedos
visit my flowergirl (niece) in PA and shop for her dress
dance lessons begin on Friday
shop for veil/headpiece

If there is time (and money)
shop for shoes for me and my daughter (MOH)
decide on ceremony music
begin programs
write vows

(Whew! and I know this is not everything!)

Noo..dont be jealous....my aunt is vendor (favors) so she ordered my favors already from Italy..I recently received my jewelery as a gift from my parents...my mom made the petal cones..booked honeymoon to Aruba..woohoo!!

ALL my vendors were booked by December 2004 (i also knew who I wanted so I didnt have to go around getting quotes). I knew before hand who I wanted to do my hair and makeup,,so I booked them and will go for a trial about 1 month prior..


You girls are not behind,,,dont worry!!!

If you need any help..let me know!!!!!!

I forgot..I still didnt order the tuxes.... but that doesnt have to be done until 2 months before...

dont feel that way,,you girls are fine with time....

As I mentioned,,,I already knew who I wanted as my vendors (photo,hall,limo,makeup artist,hair,band, florist) I got engaged Oct 2004 and they were all booked by the end of 2004.

I just ordered my invitations,,,my theory is if I see something I love,,I get it! what I dont see I wont miss

so I saw invites that I absolutly loved,,and my mom said to order them,,,no need to look at 10 other vendors...

You girls are fine.....

i am sure things will come up that I will have to gt last minute,,but as long as all the big stuff is booked,,no worries..

I got married last October & I was just thiking today how it was St. Patrick's Day when we met with our band. We booked a few days later.
I think prior to that I only had my hall, church, dress, shoes & photographer.
Don't worry --it can be done!
