Sequence of Events question-HELP

Can someone please tell me the sequence of events at their reception? Ie. cake cutting, father daughter dance etc.

I am trying to figure out when I should dance with my mom. I am also dancing with my dad but to separate songs. anyone have any suggestions?

As for when to dance with parents, thats a tricky one, maybe ask them when they would like to do it?

This was our timeline. I am not really sure if we stuck to it or not, I let the DJ and Bridal Attendent take care of everything!


7.00pm- Cocktail Hour begins

8.00pm- Reception begins

8.15pm- Bridal Party Entrance
- Bride & Groom First Dance

8.30pm- First Course Served

8.45pm-Toasts: Best Man & Maid of Honor Speeches

9.00pm- Dinner is Served

10.30pm- Bouquet Throwing & Garter Tossing

11.00pm- Cake Cutting Ceremony

11.05pm- Parent Dances

12.00am- Reception Over
