Serious question

Serious question

I dont want this to sound shallow but I have seriously been looking into getting a nose job the last few months. I have wanted one since I was 7 years old and feel that now with the wedding coming up I should actually do it. I know I could use the money for the wedding or a place to live but I have been wanting it for so long and I have very strong feelings about this issue ..so my question is...has anyone had plastic surgery or know someone who has...and are there any good recs for a dr...I dont know who to go to and FH says I should start doing my research if I want it done this year...feel free to fm me if you dont want to post

Re: Serious question

If you feel this strongly about it and you have the means to do it I say do it. My stepmom had one a long time ago so I don't have any recommendations for a doctor but I do suggest that you do it soon. You are going to want plenty of time to heal.

Good luck!

Re: Serious question

i cant help you in terms of personal experience but i can tell you that it is NOT shallow
if it makes YOU feel better and it is something YOU want as opposed to people who get things done for 'others'

I've had a couple friends get that done, I'll try to get some info, one lives in NYC...

JMO you're a gorgeous girl already---looked at your album

Re: Serious question

I don't have any info on doctors or anything, but it sounds like you really want to do this, so start doing your research right away - it takes about 6 months for the TRUE results to be seen, so you should probably have it done no later than the end of this summer.

Good luck!

Re: Serious question

if u want it then get it done...who u are on the inside is what truly counts though as cheesy as it sounds...and if u decide to get it done i would get it done soon so u have plenty of time to heal

Re: Serious question

I would do it sooner rather than later!!! That way you can heal and be comfortable with your new look!

Good luck

Re: Serious question

if it will help your confidence..i say do it..who cares..it will only make you feel better..but i know a lot of people that have had one..and the swelling doesnt go down COMPLETELY until like 6-8 months..so make sur eyou leave yourself with enough time before the wedding so everything looks great

Re: Serious question

I agree with everyone on here...if you want to do it, then do it!! Its a personal decision...just check out healing times before the wedding...

Good Luck!

i'm not completey sure..

But when he was younger he was hit in the nose with a baseball and ever since then he has had trouble breathing which caused him to snore and have sleeping problems and get headaches.

Re: Serious question

I agree with the other girls - my sister had hers done in Manhattan a few years ago, and is happy every day when she looks in the mirror now that she did it. But remember, it takes about a year for your nose to totally change its shape, so if you want it done, do it at least a year before your wedding! No pressure.
