Serious shoes question...

My FH and I are exactly the same height barefoot so he asked if I could not wear heels. Now I am not a flats person. I own 1 pair thats from when I was pregnant and could not balance to well in heels. I wear heels everyday. I think i walk funny in flats and would love nothing more than to wear some hot heels under my wedding dress. At the same time I want my FH to be happy and not mess up the pictures. My colors are brown and gold and i wanted to wear gold shoes under my dress instead of the traditional white.

My question is....do sexy gold flats even exsist and could I wear open toe shoes in a wedding in Jan without stockings? I am way to tall for stockings...hate them.

What about putting lifts in your FH's shoes? When my best friend got married, she wore about a 1 1/2' heel and had lifts put in her husband's shoes so he'd still be taller.

sort of. It was a lift INSIDE his shoe, so you couldn't see it

i dont think he will go for lifts in his shoes but thanks for the idea. i think a small heel would be nice but is it ok to wear strappy sandels in January?

Its totally ok to wear strappy sandals in january!

FH is only like one inch taller than me so I am going to look into putting a lift into his shoes. I want to be able to wear a 2-3 inch heel without being taller than him. I cried when I looked at that shoe thread yesterday because they were all so gorgeous but too tall of a heel

oh yea i know. my FH would never do it though. he would think everyone knew he had them and make fun of him. MEN thier worse then girls

I think it's ok to wear a strappy sandal in Jan as long as it doesn't snow you should be ok. I would bring a closed toe shoe just in case, but change into your sandal when indoors. I have definitely seen sexy low heels, I am going to Sandy's in Massapequa today, I will let you know if I see anything low and sexy.
