seriously !!!!!

I know i dont post very often but is it just me.....I have been engaged since the end of 08' and planning was going smoothly for the most part.
Now with 67 more days left people who said they will help with anything just call are no where to be found...so called friends are making waves with other friends and causing fights and issues (grade school crap) and now i have people i havent seen in years i mean years asking me litterly over the phone how come they didnt get invited and where is there invitation..SERIOUSLY who does that ????? Still haing issues finding favors im about to just scroll on a site and order anything at this point...rsvps are dragging coming back and we still havent bought bp gifts or set a rehersal diner date cause no one can seem to all get together on the same day ..about to forget the rehersal diner and jst give them there gifts the day of . UUUGGGHHH sorry for the run paragraph just really had to vent and this is the only place i seem to be able to say what i want without offending people .

weddings seem to bring out the worst in people or maybe they are showing their true colors. Hang in there. You and FH will get it all done without anyone's help. Trust me I know from experience.

I'm sorry hon!!! I totally understand the frustrations, especially if you're not able to vent to people around you. I've done that and have been called a bridezilla which I hate!!

DO NOT let those uninvited stress you!!!! They are a hot mess. Who even does that?? When they ask how come they didn't get an invite I'd ask how come it took me getting married to hear from you?? If they weren't that important to get an invite or keep in contact then they will be back out of your life very soon. They will get over it...trust me.

In terms of favors, are you up for a DIY? My aunt volunteered to make thank you book marks with our engagement photo on it. Very simple and less expensive than purchasing something online.

RSVPs will drag. I don't know your deadline but you probably still have time and may get a surge of responses closer to the end.

We're not having a regular rehearsal because the venue charges (we're rehearsing 30 minutes before the ceremony...it is just walking lol). I think I'm gonna have them come over my in laws house to set up who walks down first, etc and give out gifts. Nice at home BBQ. Even if everyone can't make it, I'm still doing it.

Breathe and don't make any major decisions when you're mad or frustrated (like just buying any favor). Good luck and keep venting online if it helps your sanity!!

The responses will drag and don't worry about your rehersal. I planned my wedding in less than 4 months and it was more than I could have hoped for. Everything will be fine, just hang in there!!

I understand the frustration all too well. We all do! It only gets worse as the day gets closer, but in the end it is all worth it. Ignore everyone and do what you want. And vent on here. We are all very helpful and understanding.

I totally echo this sentiment! It's been amazing to me how people who you NEVER doubted would there for you (physically and emotionally) turn their backs.

Do an edible favor! And you have plenty of time to get your bms and gms gifts. You can go down to the Hallmark store and get Lolita glasses for the girls and get the boys some booze...cheer up!

ps: you don't NEED a rehearsal dinner ... i'm not having one. I'll be giving the gifts on the day of the wedding ...

Thank you ladies...things have been resolved for the most part ..fh is the bestest .
I know i shouldnt let people get to me , I know its our day and if people cant be happy for us then that is their problem ...blah blah blah lol .
So much easier to say when your not fumming at others ignorance.
Its nice to have a page like this ..kinda like a facebook for brides. I love reading all your tips and post.
Again thank you ladies for all your responses it really made me sit and think as far as the whole guest issue.

Off to bed ready for tomorrows drama ...lol.
