FH and I were supposed to close on the 18th. I just got a phone call from our lawyer and he said that the seller's lawyer needs a paper from the the sellers that can take up to 2 weeks to get.
I am soooo upset....furious....sad....nervous.... and depressed over this whole situation. We signed contracts and put down 10% the beginning of April and it's been 2 months. W T F! Couldn't they think of this sh!t 2 months ago! Our furniture is suppose to be delivered on the 24th and 25th....our mortage rate expires for the 2nd time on the 24th....my relatives (6 people) are coming in from Italy on the 25th...all my shower gifts are still in my parents basement!
We are getting married in 26 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There is just sooo much going on...I just can't take it anymore! FH's grandmother has been in the hospital for a week now...she had a mild stoke and can't speak and is not eating. Why is this happening to us!? This is suppose to be the happiest time of our lives and it has just been a living hell!
Please pray for us and FH's grandmother!
Sorry for the long vent...I'm just losing it.....I'm at work and all I can do is sit here and cry! Luckily it's the last day of classes so I'm not really doing anything with my students today. 2 more classes to go.

Take deep breaths!! I'm stressed just planning the wedding.. I cant imagine the stresses of closing on a house too... Hopefully it will all be done within the two weeks so it doesnt get closer to the wedding

I know the feeling we went through the same thing we were supposed to close 2 weeks before the wedding and we didn't end up closing till after the HM. I know its hard any your going to stress but try not to stress cause there is nothing you can do about it and it will eventually work itself out.

Thank you ladies for all your encouraging words. I'm a little better now.
FH is on a business trip and I just told him about the situation. He is taking it pretty well. Our main concern is FH's grandma getting better. All he wants is for her to be well and to be at our wedding so he can dance with her. She was diagnosed with cancer in 2005 and is doing excellent with that.
