FH and I were supposed to close on the 18th. I just got a phone call from our lawyer and he said that the seller's lawyer needs a paper from the the sellers that can take up to 2 weeks to get.
I am soooo upset....furious....sad....nervous.... and depressed over this whole situation. We signed contracts and put down 10% the beginning of April and it's been 2 months. W T F! Couldn't they think of this sh!t 2 months ago! Our furniture is suppose to be delivered on the 24th and 25th....our mortage rate expires for the 2nd time on the 24th....my relatives (6 people) are coming in from Italy on the 25th...all my shower gifts are still in my parents basement!
We are getting married in 26 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There is just sooo much going on...I just can't take it anymore! FH's grandmother has been in the hospital for a week now...she had a mild stoke and can't speak and is not eating. Why is this happening to us!? This is suppose to be the happiest time of our lives and it has just been a living hell!
Please pray for us and FH's grandmother!
Sorry for the long vent...I'm just losing it.....I'm at work and all I can do is sit here and cry! Luckily it's the last day of classes so I'm not really doing anything with my students today. 2 more classes to go.

i know exactly how you feel... we are waiting to get into contract hoping that we can get into the house before the wedding or we have no where to live unless we suck it up and live with our parents. there are things that HAVE to be done in the house before we can live in there . we have so much planning to still do... this is very stressful i will keep you both in my thoughts and keep my fingers crossed for you! good luck hun!!!

I'm so sorry about everything that's going on
I know exactly how you feel about the closing. FH and I put an offer on a co-op so long ago and we are just having our interview tomorrow! We had to fill out so much paperwork and go through such a waiting process that it's been ridiculous. Hang in there though!

Wow Gina....this really sux! Why can't this go smoothly?!?! It has been a complete nightmare from day 1. Starting back in Feb when we lost the other place b/c of the seller's greed.
We both still live with our parents so we have now where to go to!
