ok i'm a size 16 in clothing. i'm on WW so I have been loosing (not as fast as I would like to) I'm going dress shopping Sat at Bridal Suite of Centereaches....will they even have dresses for me to try on?? how does it work if you are bigger than the sample size?

I am around the same size as you. Most stores I went to had a few samples in my size but most dresses were a 10 or 12. I was able to put them on but not zip them up all the way. They pinned up the back or laced it up, whatever they did, it worked to make the dress look as close to what it would be in your size. I was very nervious before shopping about not even being able to put the dresses on but I had a great experience and realized that even if I don't lose weight before my wedding I will still look beautiful.

Same here. I am about a size 16 in dress clothes as well and I went to several shops to try on dresses. Its very intimdiating at first because most of the sample sizes are 10 or 12. I found some places did have 14 and even a couple of 16/18. Mostly I fit into the dresses but I was not able to zip up a couple. All that matter is that you find the dress that looks amazing on you no matter what your size.

you will be fine. Don't let the size you try on discourage you. I am a size 20 and they were putting me in 28's.

There are so many plus size brides on the boards, if you search for 'plus size' lots of threads will come up with reassurances, positive experiences and recommendations on where to go. Don't worry, you will be beautiful!!!
