I am going to email my sister right now and tell her the invite MUST say 'it's a surprise.' I know yours probably did too, but I figure this is one precaution I can take ....

Ok so I've already posted that 2 people already said something to me about my shower even though I was told the invitation says 'shhhh its a surprise'. So today I get a message on facebook from FH's cousin saying 'see you saturday'. Hello, what is the matter with people. I so wanted to be surprised for my shower and everyone cannot stop talking to me about it.

I know when mine is, even tho it's a 'surprise' (we're letting my mom think she surprised me) but everyone in the BP keeps telling me details. I'm like I do not want to know!!!!

Yesterday I received an email from a friend of mine saying 'I received your invitation for your shower!! I cant wait til August!'

ok great thanks. Even though I know its in August, she most likely would have said the date too if I didnt stop her

look at it this way.... everything else will be a suprise! The theme, the wishing well. I had an upstate shower because FH's family is there so I obviously had to know about it but I was so surprised by the theme and wishing well and little personal touches that screamed me that they put into everything.

I'm worried that I wont be able to act surprised because my BP (minus one bridesmaid) is trying so hard to surprise me. FH's cousin is the bm who said I'll see you in June for your shower.

People keep talking to me about mine, but they aren't giving away anything to let me know *when* it might be.

I was at my MOH's apt last night and happened to see something I was almost 100% sure was my shower invite!!! I had to FORCE myself not to look at it! I knew the second I did, I'd regret it! I am proud to say I didn't peek

You never know, that may have actually been a ploy set to throw you off. I've heard of that being done before. But, good that you tried not to look, just in case.
