I know how you feel..My FMIL actually called my house once looking for my mom and when i told her she wasn't here..she flat out said..tell your mom i will be there on may 18..which was supposed to be my shower!!!!!!!! well my mother changed it because of her..but i have a feeling its sunday...suspicious things are going on

not at all...and then she actually started laughing right after..and it sounded like such an evil laugh..i still wonder if it was on accident!
That's what I'm saying, I just don't think some people are that stupid. Soo miserable!

People are just really really stupid. So sorry it was ruined. I had to know the date of my shower because I work 2 jobs and travel for work. FMIL keeps throwing it in my face that I know the date. SO WHAT? Was I not going to have one? I don't know anything else about it!

That's awful. I'm so sorry that happened.
My shower was a couples shower and it was a surprise for me but FMIL left the invitation out on the kitchen counter for FH to see so he wasn't surprised. I think it was also to ruin the surprise for me as the week before the shower she was desperately trying to get me to come over to her house but I did go(long story).
Other than the date everything else will be a surprise though, guest list, decorations, gifts, food etc.

People keep talking to me about mine, but they aren't giving away anything to let me know *when* it might be.
I was at my MOH's apt last night and happened to see something I was almost 100% sure was my shower invite!!! I had to FORCE myself not to look at it! I knew the second I did, I'd regret it! I am proud to say I didn't peek
How about since FMIL knows I know when it is..she showed me the invite!!! My mom wanted to show them to me afterwards!

Ohhh thats awful. I'm suprised FMIL didnt do that to me but I'll be shocked if she even gets me a gift.

Although, I accidentaly almost blew my friend's shower
She came over and I forgot to take her invite off the fridge - but that was an accident!!!!!!

Awe that stinks!!!! You will be surprised by the whole day though, don't worry. This afternoon I went to my sister's house and I'm pretty sure she had the invites on her bed. I saw something on the bed but I didn't look and then my dad came in and whispered something to her. Then I asked what and they said 'nothing'. Haha! I'm so excited that it's in the works!!! You will have a great day anyway! At least you know when to look fabulous!
