Seriously....Invitaions are theee WORST!!!

I must revisit the fact that invitations might make go Bridezilla on everyone's behind....TALK ME OFF THE LEDGE...

This is too much and I am tooo freakin picky!!!!

i am obsessing over letterpress and the ones i want only come engraved so now i have to talk to designers/printers to make what I want...why can't I just go buy them like I buy shoes...'ohhhh i like those...wrap it up....'

yeah most things i handled well but this i was about to kill someone. I had ordered invites, i just knew that i didnt want to be bothered with doing it myself although i knew how. So they were supposed to be done middle of march. Then around march 22 I contact the lady to see when shes sending them out and THEN she says to me 'oh you wont get them until April 19' she was insane and messed up, dont know how bc didnt she see the rsvp date was around that time lol. So then i had to make them myself, i duplicated the same exact invites i ordered from her. I ran around like a maniac to get all the supplies, and on top of that to make 300 invites in one week. IT was HORRIBLE!!!!!! and just a few days into this, i fall and brake my foot, i had a cast and on crutches so i had to have ppl get things for me. And then even mailing them out i had to wait around on ppl to drive me to the post office. THat was on top of ppl giving me a bunch of ppl they forgot to put on the list, they all remembered last minute

yeah towards the end, anything that can go wrong did lol. So just remember it can always be worse, use me as an example

i would contact someone that will design the invite for you. Whats that girls name, tessa i think. I think she'll do it exactly how you want.

invitations were my biggest stressor so I feel your pain!! i am soooo glad that is over!

i'm an artist and am extremely anal about layout, fonts, papers, etc. i looked through books and books and couldn't find anything i liked. I fell in love with 2 fonts, and ivory linen paper and eventually decided on a layout but couldn't decide what i wanted to do it on. i was going to DIY lace on it but went to the fashion dist and couldn't find lace that worked. then i was going to DIY flowers but couldnt find flowers I liked. finally i found an invitation with a ribbon and my grandma loved it and i decided it was the best i would find for what i was looking for. i ended up designing the layout on the card and response cards, and then going through 3 sets of proofs to make the sizing and layout the way i wanted, but in the end i was very happy with them.

would not want to do it again!
