20% service charge on the RH contract...do we tip ON TOP of this???
I always just assumed I'd be tipping in person the day of but I didn't realize there was already 20% included (probably denial).

On top of the 20% service charge you would ordinarily tip the matire'd and the bridal attendant. You can speak to your banquet manager for guidance on this.
Ughh I just realized I have 2 bridal attendants...

yes you do. The suggest anywhere from $4-$7 per person based on how well their service was. So if you have 150 people at the wedding, than you are looking at $600-$1050 tip

in addition to that 20% service charge; you still tip your Matrie D and bridal attendants that day.
That service charge is just for the wait staff & bar.

Yes, you normally would tip the maitre'd on top of that 20% service charge. I assume that 20% goes to banquet manager, bartender(s) and waiters.

You are supposed to tip on top of that.. the maitre D.. usually $3-$7 per head depending on how satisfied you are with the service

i also thought it was $3-5...fh is and was in the wedding business for years....there is noooooo way Im giving my maitre'd 700 dollars!!! that's INSANITY!
