then take pix to leave with the rh the night b4 so they knwo how to set up?

or do ppl just not do that?

i think you can do that! ask your bm is not a bad move if you want a certain thing to look exactly how you want

people do that but usually they have the MOH do it the day of

you will be getting your sample four month before so i don't think they will remember

Re: setting up at the rh...

its not the rh ppl that set up your flowers. The florist goes to the Rh and they are the ones who set up the flowers. So i would talk to the florist but since they are doing the sample cp they will know exactly what to do and how you want your flowers. The Rh does everything else but florists set up flowers.

I dont think if you went into JT they would mind if you used your CP to see how it would look on the table... This is a great idea, were gonna have to steal it and do the same thing now...

Re: setting up at the rh...

no i know the florists set up..but im adding a few extra things on the tables i already have some sample pieces of the stuff i might be adding. i just wanna make sure it wont look like too much clutter b4 i spend a buttload on these extras.

as far as if i get to keep the sample cp or not.. i would think u do... but if not ill gladly return it.

For our e-party I gave the Milleridge Inn a list of instructions, ie, table # 6 gets 4 bottles of wine and 2 chinese food boxes with candy 1 frame near centerpiece. They set everything up perfect. I plan on making detailed lists from the BM and my DOC to make sure everything is covered!

Then maybe when you go see your sample bring a few things that will be on your tables and take a picture how you would like it set up on your wedding day. and give that to your BM

JT will ask for instructions and they give you a sheet that has tables drawn on it and numbered and you write instructions on there. For example at each table you will write the amount of guests at that table, the amount of favors on the table(if you put them on the tables) and any other instructions you have. For example i had to write down that i also had table runners i am bringing in, menu's, table numbers in picture frames and every detail. You also bring in EVERYTHING the week before your wedding, you box it up and bring it to JT. You then go over everything with them, tell them whats in the boxes, what they are doing with it and many even write on another sheet all the instructions. When you bring in your stuff you can take things out to demonstrate how you want it on the table

ETA: just be careful with not putting too many things on the table, bc JT itself will have to put alot of things such as all the glasses, bread baskets, and takes up a lot of space. I didnt even have favors on the tables, i had all the favors on a separate long table by us. Here is a picture from day of to show you what the tables look like set up and how much space you have for other things.

I think it can't help to ask. I'm going to ask, because I'd like to do extra votives and stuff, and I want to make sure it's not TOO much.
