i'm a huge Sex and the City fan... i can probobly tell you the whole story line from begining to end and i know i can quote several full seasons lol

but.... i'm honestly not that excited about the movie. i have this fear that it will be AWFUL and i just dont wanna deal with that lol

also... i just got used to the characters being 'old' i dont wanna say goodbye to them again.

it sounds silly i know... but it's just how i feel.

Exactly!
I needed Big and Carrie to get together. But i didnt want the show to end with a wedding or anything like that...
i know a lot of people who want to see them break up in the movie... that would break my heart and make me very angry.
My relationship with FH is a lot like theirs was. Only, I was Big and he was Carrie... i liked that he turned out to be a great guy after all you know?

sometimes a fairytale ending is exactly what we need...

ahh im one of those ppl who doesn't want big with carrie...He was a jerk with her most of the time...he was the typical guy stringing her along and played such mind games...i hope he finally realizes that shes the one and how he can't be without her, which yes i know the ending of the show implied that but again this is big lol...but i want her in the end to say you know what im too good for this.

But i know everyone else would be crushed lol

I am so exited about this!!!!!! My sister and I used to have lazy saturday afternoons filled with DVD re-runs and homemade chocolate martitnis!!

When the show ended 100 years ago there were rumors of a storyline (for the movie) involving Charlotte and Miranda going to China to get Char's baby.....I hope they scrapped it because it sounded really sh*tty.

the thing is... she's always loved him. she has had plenty of chances to walk away from him you know? if that's what she wanted, if she made that choice, that would have been one thing. i know i rooted for that to happen more than once.

but to end the series like that, and then have them split up in the movie, just kinda ruins the end of the series... if that makes sense....

i'd like to see a continuation of the story lines, not a deviation from them.

i wanna know about charlotte's baby and i wanna know how steve and miranda are doing. i wanna know how samantha is and everything.
i dont want it to be two hours of 'omg big and i broke up again whaaaaa'

and i dont want it to start off with them being broken up b/c i'd wanna know all the juicy details.

it's sick how addicted i am to that show.

yeah trust me i completely understand what you are saying, thats why i said i know im one of the few to feel like this and i dont expect the movie to end up the way i want it lol. I do know most people want that ending so it is only right they do end up together and yeah for her he is THE one and the one she would always compare everyone to.
