I know this may be hard to believe but I am not a virgin... my sons were not conceived immaculately. And I really ENJOY sex with FH... HOWEVER - I have been thinking that I want to abstain for a bit before we actually get married. Kind of revert to the kissing, cuddling and petting of the early days. Is anyone else considering doing a lock down before the wedding? How long would you consider keeping your knees closed before the wedding? I am thinking 3 weeks.. but I am not sure I will make it. Man that makes me sound like a slut!

With all the stress of wedding planning and detail and such, i need my lovin. So thats a big HELL no from me. I am sure that FH would agree with me that waiting is a big no for us.

I actually went 3mths without it but it was easy for me because FH was upstate working so I barely saw him.. but now he is back in the Bronx..and well I'll start again tommorrow
ETA: I can def. do it..but I cant say the same for FH

you dont sound like a slut at all. The majority of us on these boards (just like the majority of the actual population) has has sex with their fiances before marraige. And yes, I personally would like to refrain from sex for some time before the wedding. However.....i dont think we'll be able to hold out very long No more than a week.

My FH suggested the bridal room too!
He's a Marine and had been deployed twice, so I keep telling him that if he was able to last that long both times then he can last the little time I am asking before the wedding.

Well so far we've made it 3 years, just 8 more months to go!!! Then again, we're waiting until marriage! It's been a loooooooooooooooong 3 years, but it will be well worth the wait. We joke around that they're gonna say, 'You may now kiss the bride.' We'll high tail it outta there and dissapear for a while. Just kidding. We'll probably wait til after the reception, but the second the clocks strikes 11, we're OUTTA there!!!!! We ain't waitin no longer after that!!

I don't think we would be able to do it. Sex is a good stress management technique. I have a feeling that when the WD gets closer that we are going to need it Why should I start to act 'Pure' now?
