Sex Offenders...

This is the topic on Oprah.

ITs a scary thought to think that a sex offender/child molester can be living right in your neighborhood.

Has anyone ever called the local PD to find out this type of info ??
Just watching this show has me really thinking about it...

My friend has a son in kindergarden and he got a letter in the mail saying there was a conficted sex offender living in our town, and if you wanted the name and address you could contact the administration building and they would give you more info. I was freaked out becasue we live in a good neighborhood, but then we think we know who it is he was convicted of raping a girl in college. But it is really scary, I am glad that they have though laws that you know if there is one in your area.

My friend was once ENGAGED to a man who had a record of 'sexual assault'

Oh, the drama that ensued...one of my friends found out, told all the 'girls' and we got together to create this elaborate scheme to have our friend find out w/o her knowing we knew.... what a mess. Thankfully, she called off the wedding but that was so scary! When I started dating FH my best friend's husband wanted to have him fingerprinted and have a record check done so we wouldn't repeat the same nonesense!

You will probably get a lot of page errors (I did) but just keep refreshing the page and eventually it'll pull it up. They even have pics of them.

BTW, these are only Level 3 offenders.

Sex Offenders should be shot, whats even scarier are the ones who live in our neighborhoods and dont have a record

DOes each precint really have a list of the sex offenders living in our area?

The Megan Law says school districts have to have them listed in their district office as weel & each time a new offended comes into your area you get a letter from the school. There's a guy that owns a pizza place near me that's on the list
