Shadow Boxer

This song just randomly came on my Yahoo radio station, I LOVE this song.

Tidal captured 'my life in song' when it came out...

Do you have an album like that?

It just defines a phase your life so completely?

I have several:

Tidal absolutely was that album for me; from start to finish.

'Little Earthquakes' - not so much when it came out but in my early 20s. Tori Amos

Though it might sound cliche, 'Jagged Little Pill' was IT for me when I was 16.

'Songs for a New World' is forever going to be my life in song, no matter how old I am. It's actually a musical by Jason Robert Brown - the lyrics are so poignant and the music so timeless.

I think we all repeat stuff from time to time on here

not to be a copy cat, but it would probably be the same album. When it came out I was in a really manic, self-hatred kind of stage, and I really identified with Fiona and all the struggles she had gone through.

In college, I went through a VAST stage (Visual Audio Sensory Theater) - it is a very angry album and I was feeling angry at the world

Stars and Moon has my favorite lyrics. It's not a typical musical. The songs somehow haphazardly make for a great story.

Wow- mine is waaaay less deep.
Blink 182, Dude Ranch. When DH and I broke up in '99. CD spoke to me.

Rest of the time... no idea. I can't rememebr a lot of details from that era...
