Thanks everyone! And, thank you for the sweet compliments on my boy! I know I am truly lucky and very blessed to have such an agreeable child with a pleasant personality - YES, he is happy 95% of the time, and very rarely whines or cries unless he is super tired or super hungry - two things we try to avoid! I think what helps his mood really is the predictability of his schedule....even if we are out somewhere, I try to maintain his meal and nap times. It is often not possible, but we do our best.
Having experienced such a pleasant child the first time around really makes the thought of child #2 SCARY!! I fear that I simply cannot get this lucky twice.
