Shamma will be happy to know.

that today i have officially quit smoking..

i am going to try my hardest to stick to it this time, i CAN NOT breathe at all anymore, and if i want to start to jog and bike ride this summer ill have to stop now..

so wish me luck cause i have absolutly NO will power!!!

Suzanne - one of my good friends made me a cake when I made it to one month of no smoking. It was really yummy. If you make it a month I'll do the same for you, any flavor you want!

Thanks ladies.. i am at the point where i can not BREATHE anymore.. and i dont like the dogs to be subjected to my discusting habit.. plus they are costing a small fortune..

Shamma, I told frank to not buy cigarettes today, cause he wants to quit too. I left him the rest of the pack we had and said smoke these and DONT bring anymore home...I hope we can do it..

Megan, OH A CAKE WOULD BE GREAT!! LOL... chocolate with pudding filling is my FAV!!

Cold turkey... i cant chew that gum, and my skin is to sensitive for the patch! But i am optimistic!!

Also make sure to treat yourself to little things - like a manicure on your 1 wk, a CD, stuff like that...I found that if I had treats to work towards it was a lot easier.

BTW: Cold Turkey and hypnosis tapes worked wonders for me! I also ordered a poster from the American Cancer Society of a diseased lung. Looking at it every morning made me not want to smoke ever again!
