Shamma96 & all just married CB Brides
I was wondering how much time, if you noticed, the photographer took to take pix with you at CB and their photo studio area. I know they have a gazebo of some sort (I am probably wrong) upstairs I think? If you can provide any details on where you took the pictures that would help me a lot.Thanks.
And Shamma-your pix in front of the waterfall is so romantic! I love it!

Our pics in the studio took about an hour. The photographers also took us out during the reception for 15 minutes to get some shots in the lobby - floor, chairs, steps.I was married in Feb. so we didn't take any photos outdoors
Shamma's photos are beautiful!

Excellent question!
I'm getting married there in 16 days, I'm taking pictures at the Palnting Fields Arboretum before the ceremony & then heading to the CB to take a few shots there too.

Re: Shamma96 & all just married CB Brides
My BM said we should allocate at least 2 hours for pictures on the grounds of CB alone. I find that to be too much time. Our cocktail hour begins at 7:30 so we should be there around 5:30. The ceremony begins around 5:00 but we can move it up since we are the only wedding that day. So we haven't decided yet. But I don't see why we have to have 2 hours set aside for CB. Did they mention the same thing to you ladies?

Re: Shamma96 & all just married CB Brides
As you can see from our pix most of our pix were done at Old Westbury garden. We only did the family portraits in the studio, that was quick b/c we finished that up and attended our coctail hour. Then sometime while dinner was being served our photographer took us out to go and do the stairs, the waterfall etc, not even 5 mins. If your photographer knows CB they will work the hall with ease.Happy planning

Shamma how did you enter your cocktail hour? Did you just come in with the guests or were you announced?

My day of event coordinator announced that we were coming and that everyone was supposed to applaud as we entered...it was really cool. We did our receiving line/greeting of guests then

You should visit CB and look at their pictures on the wall upstairs and album, and that would give you some ideas. The gazebo is outside, so if you have a nice day, you would be able to use it.My photos were taken at my parent's house, the studio, and different parts of CB.

Re: Shamma96 & all just married CB Brides
Thanks ladies but one more question.I dont' mean to be a pest but I am finally starting to plan! And have so many ideas and questions to answer and consider.
So my question to CB Brides is: How long before the cocktail hour begins does CB let people into the cocktail room and what do they serve in the main lobby when guests arrive early? I know they serve champagne with strawberries and they have a table with with goodies on it. But I don't remember what the goodies are. How early do they allow guests into the lobby.
And just double checking the piano player begins playing how far in advance before the guests arrive.
Thank you again so much for your help ladies.

I think you should call your Bm for that one...the guest arrived before we did, so that question I could not even begin to answer. No one complained about anything tho' When we arrived they were all already in the EuropaWelcome New Vendors
