Seating chart is simple!! My friend showed me the trick and my god its the best system!! All you need is the follow.

Piece of Oak tag

Post it tabs in 5 colors

copy of seating arrangement from venue ( so you know how to set up the oak tag drawing)

and a bottle of wine! LOL

Here are photos of my seating chart you will color coordinate 'my family' 'his family' 'my friends' 'his friends' and 'mutual Friends'

the prep is the longest part.. but once you start its goes so fast bc the colors tend to 'sit' together...

I took my final count and printed it on labels to stick on top of the colored tabs instead of writing out by hand all the names!!

As for table numbers I went to Michaels and bought frames.. .they were buy one get one free!!!! They always have that deal so keep and eye out for it... I bought good quality printing paper instead of your typical letter paper for the printer, I used word and created the numbers and waaa laaa this was the final product... !!

Each table number had a different quote about marriage, or love :)

Love your oak tag great idea. I meant the framed seating chart instead of place cards.

Just yesterday FH and I were debating about how to do this haha. I want to do the oak tag idea, but you can also google excel seating chart template. It's actually pretty cool if you know excel.
