in the asian culture, it's tradition to take Pre-wedding photos. Most of the time just the bride and groom to be and studio type photos.

it's usually a rented dress provided by the studio.
yep... you're usually given an option either to wear a wedding gown OR anything you want to wear. the studios have a large collection of gowns to choose from too.

Yes, in our culture, it's tradition to take Pre-wedding photos.. And the dress also from the studio.

VERY PRETTY...
They do this down south too... the bride goes for bridal portraits before the wedding and usually there is a huge picture of the bride as you walk into the reception hall.

i was going to add this-they use it as like a trial run..in your own dress, and that's when you do a hair/mu trial..
its kinda like a backward day-after with just the bride
