Shave, wax or laser?

I'm going through a Nair phase - but I'd be scared to laser lol.

I find waxing very painful, I don't like being too experimental down there :)

Can you use Nair down there?? I bought it recently for my arms ... for some reason they are incredibly hairy .. and used it on my legs, too ... but I have been hesitant to use it on the who-ha.

You can. They have a special formula for bikini areas, so its meant for thick hair. Slather it on for a few minutes and I was able to wipe off the hair lol. Doesn't burn, doesn't hurt, but only lasts a little longer than shaving. But its way easier than shaving, IMO. I didn't think it would work for me, I have thick hair (TMI, sorry) but it worked great.

well i wanted to practice getting it done before the wedding because there is no way in hell i am shaving on my honeymoon - that would be sooo annoying AND i want it to look its best for the wedding and honeymoon! LMAO! so i told FSIL that i wanted to go, so she surprised me and made me an appointment (FSIL goes monthly) so we are going together in December. i just shouldnt have let her make the appointment so soon - its probably going to be addicting - and $50 every month for a year is $600 i could have saved for the wedding......but at least my va-jay-jay will look hot!

how much does one tip for something like this?

I have to be honest - I found it anything but addicting lol. I never woke up and went 'wow, today I could go for good va-jay-jay wax' lol. It hurt me every time (sorry, its just true for me lol) If I have something special coming up, I'll do it. I dread it, but it looks nice! But I couldn't see myself doing it every month. Not everyone handles pain that well. So I wouldn't worry about the money until you try it first.

i think they just like how it looks so much thats whyits addicting hahaha...Some places using a numbing cream, and always take advil 30 mins before that also helps

i will seriously never shave again - i do find it addicting ( the outcome not the process )

LOL FH made such a big deal about it the first time, he gave me a complex and now i cant go back!

FH liked it too lol - I just found it so painful. I'd literally be like crying as they did it.

well when you first start waxing its different, have you shaved previously to waxing? if so then the hair is a bit thicker from shaving so thats why, after you wax a couple of times you have less hair grow back and comes in softer so it wont hurt as much, you might have very thick root. Also make sure you are completely dry down there and not sweaty, i had a bad experience bc of that. It was a real hot summer day and i was a bit sweaty so yeah it ripped some skin off, even though i was advised not to do it then lol, but make sure they put baby powder on first to dry it a bit otherwise it can rip some skin off, and also try finding a place that uses numbing cream and if not take advil 30 mins prior

I shave, but def am going to get waxed for the big day. It is just too much pain to do all the time.

I would love to do laser, but I am scared b/c I have olive skin and a lot of times it will darken in the area it was done. So, I am not taking any chances

Ahh you girls are really making me want to try the brazilian wax. I shave now but its a PITA. And I have thick dark hair too. I would really try it, for one I have a high threshold for pain, and two..i know FH would love it! But i'm not really secure in my body so I dont know if i would be comfy enough to lay there and have someone rip hair off my Vag and other areas..
I'll just be thinking in my head 'OMG this lady must think i'm a fat, gross pig'
