You made the wax seals first? What did you make them on?
Then you peel them off and glue it on the envelope?

Re: shelzyp
Did you use wax, or the hot glue wax from the gun?

Re: shelzyp
It is called a glue gun pad.
Marcella suggested it, and it is great, you do them on this pad, and then when they cool, you peel thm off, they come off really easily, and then you hot glue them on the envelope.
Another tip marcella gave me is to dip the stamp in ice water in between each time, and then blot the excess water off, before stamping again.
If there was excess water it causes small bubbles sometimes.

Re: shelzyp
I used faux wax, that you put right thru the hot glue gun. They ahve silver and gold at Michaels and they also have the stampers there too.
From what I have heard the wax seals break off in the mail, but not the faux wax ones

Re: shelzyp
Does the ice water keep the stamp from sticking? Do you stamp right away, or wait for the glue to cool a little?
One more- the back of the wax/glue it says to use embossing powder to keep the stamp from sticking- did you do this?
Thank you !

Re: shelzyp
I did not use embossing powder, but the ice water helps the stamper release form the glue, since it cools the stamper down quick.

Re: shelzyp
So you do stamp right away?

Re: shelzyp
Squirt the hot glue and then wait about 10 - 20 seconds, then put the stamp in it. You need to give the glue a chance to cool a little bit, then when the stamp is cool enough the stamp will release from the stamper.
