Sherwood Tirart or Duet

My fiancee went to both and said Sherwood had more natural looking poses even though they were more expensive. Does Sherwood send out their work because Duet had everything inhouse and said the albums would be ready in 2-3 months. My best man's pics won't be ready for a year but he didn't use either of them. I hear that 7-9 months is the avg. Any help would be very appreciated. I would like to lock down vendors now since it's hard to do even almost 2 yrs. in adv.

Duet. I've never met them or seen their work, but Duet.

Here is the link to the Official DUET photograph thread. It has a list of people who have used DUET so you can FM them. I booked DUET but you have to go with who is right for you. I've never heard of Sherwood Tirart.

I went to see Sherwood Triart and while I loved their work, they were way too expensive. You can get the same quality for less at Duet. When I went to Duet I was just as impressed. I did end up booking someone completely different though!

Sherwood Triart does everything onsite, themselves.

I'm using them, and I love their work. I know some brides have felt they were rude, but they were very nice to me and my FH. We were there about 1 1/2 hours and we never felt rushed. They answered all our questions.

Yes, they were more expensive than others, but these photos will be what our memories are based on in the years to come. We wanted high quality work. Duet gets really great reviews though by the brides on the board, too though. It may just come down to price.

We used Sherwood Triart for our wedding. It took 8 months for our albums. When we got them there were scratches on the photos due to the binder... I believe they do a lot of their own work though.

I never met with Sherwood Triart.
I am using Duet though.

I think pictures are one of the most improtant things! So if one is more expensive than the other, but you can afford it, then go for the one you really want.

Another vote for DUET! I hear nothing but raves about them, and I'm so lucky to have boked them .. they do excellent work, all you need to do is check out the DUET thread and see how beautiful everything looks

First of all, don't worry about the money. Look at both places and their photos and see what you're drawn to. Then think about the money factor. I booked with Duet and I'm not only confident in their photography, but their price is right where I needed it to be. I would not have booked with them on price alone. The quality of the photos was my priority. I would have pulled the money out of my a$$ if I had to.

Does anyone know if Aug 29 2004 is taken with Duet? When my sis went there they were but I saw a thread and the date wasn't listed. I'm guessing they may not be on the site or just haven't listed. I'm hoping it's free.

Actually, yes I do know.

They were booked for that date when I called them last September.

Sorry to say.

There are lots of fantastic photographers available that day still, though, I'm sure!!!
