Sherwood Triart

Can anyone who has used them PLEASE give me feedback. Did you add the photojournalism package? Was it worth it? Feel free to FM if you feel more comfortable.
Any input you can give me would be much appreciated.

Re: Sherwood Triart

I didn't book them, but I did speak with them. They were the first photograher that I met with, and very informative. I was very glad that I went to see them first. As beautiful as I thought their pictures were I didn't like the fact that they did not give you the negatives. They only give proof, and whenever you want pictures you need to go to them.

Re: Sherwood Triart

I thought they had beautifully composed photos but nothing really wowed me there. Even their photojournalistic stuff looked too posed for me. When I pressed them about it, they did admit that most of the photos in their sample photojournalistic books were somewhat posed. To me, the whole reason I like that style is because its 'real'. This was nearly 2 years ago so they may have changed since.

They were also VERY VERY expensive. They wanted to charge 2x what my photographer charged me ... and my photographer is certainly not cheap.

Re: Sherwood Triart

Someone in my family used this photographer for her wedding. Although she was very happy with the pictures, but once they had her money, it was like getting the pope on the phone. It is not the first time I heard that about them. If you haven't booked them yet look around before you make a decision

Re: Sherwood Triart

I saw them and loved their work! For a while I could not decide between them and JoVon. I ended up going with JoVon because I loved the photojournalism and Sherwood Triart looked posed although I think their color photos blow a lot of places away!
One of the guys in our bridal party used them and loved them. I saw their proofs and they look great. If you dont care about photojournalism I would go with them but I do not think what they charge for it is worth it especially since it looks posed.
