Sherwood-Triart: Any opinions?

Sherwood-Triart: Any opinions?

Saw some of their work tonight, and it seemed nice. Though the sales guy showed me his own wedding album, then seemed upset that I wasn't doing backflips over it. He said they have done a few celebs, and the Scotto girls weddings.

Anyway, opinions wanted, good and bad. (feel free to FM bad if you are scared to post it for fear of reprocussions)

HA, do I ever.

Give me a minute to FM you, but let me say that I felt uncomfortable even being in the same room with those jerks at the showcase tonight.

ETA: Ok, you have FM.

You really need to do your homework with photo/video. We searched A LONG time before picking ours. Too many people out there who 'expect' you to like their work. Good luck!

I thought their work was very nice and I was interested in going with them, but whenever I spoke with them they had an attitude, so I went with someone else.

i checked them out, but I think they were too expensive and the guy did not want to negotiate the price at all. Their work was very nice, but so was every other place I went to.

I'm using Sherwood-Triart for my wedding.

Yes, they are quite pricey, but so were other photographers if you wanted their best packages. I loved the quality of their work, and we met in their shop, so it wasn't quite as hectic as it may be in an expo. They took about 1 1/2 with us to discuss what we wanted and I felt very comfortable with them.

We went to a few others, who were Scotto vendors & we were either rushed, or left alone in a room with a video & an album and when they came back, they handed us a sheet.

Sherwood also agreed to give me a reshoot if it were to rain so I can have some nice outdoor shots, which some others said they wouldn't do without an extra fee.

Everyone has a different opinions & different personalities. Bottom line, don't book someone you don't feel comfortable with.

Are you looking for a more photojournalistic style, or more traditional?

Because of price, I'd say this place is out. I'm not really ready to book yet, but I'd be looking for photojournalistic / candid more than overly posed.
